A new look at catch-up stroke drill

I was on GoSwim.tv this morning looking at some video.  If you haven't been on GoSwim.tv before, it's a great site to get some drill ideas and some fine-points on strokes.  I was a video on catch-up stroke, and there's a few points from the video I want to share:

1) The swimmers in their video did not "stack" their hands like we are used to doing.  But, they did keep their hands extended.

2) The narrator suggested that you keep your "elbow up near the surface of the  water" when pulling.  I like that idea a lot, especially to work on the "catch" or front end of the stroke.

3) Most of the swimmers in the video were wearing a snorkel when they swam.  Do you have your snorkel at practice every day?
